Beginners Classes

SKK Judo Club has Beginner Classes in and around the St. Helens area.

Children can start learning Judo from the age of 7 at one of our 2 Feeder clubs that we have at Cowley College and Rainhill High School.

We also have a Beginners Class at SKK Judo Club.

The aim of the Feeder Club is to provide an introduction to the sport of Judo where your child will learn the basics of the sport in a FUN and FRIENDLY environment.

When ready to move onto the next level, your child will move to SKK Judo Club where sessions will take place twice a week for the Intermediate class. Also, it is at this stage when they will be introduced to competitions.

The first session at the Feeder Club will be FREE and the coach will loan your child a Gi (Judo suit). Your child will only need shorts/tracksuit bottoms and a
t-shirt.

The cost of the sessions are £3.00 and are paid in 6 week blocks of £18.00.

On a weekly basis, the coach will give out a trophy for the best Judoka (person who has worked the best)
